Radiate Studios recently collaborated with Alex Albon, a Thai-British Formula 1 Driver for Williams Racing, on a mission to support the Iceman Charity during his latest visit to the Wat Sa Kaeo Orphan Aid Center in Ang Thong, Thailand in the beginning of April 2022.
Who is Alex Albon?
With a love for racing that blossomed at the age of 8, Alexander Albon (Alex) came to be well known for his karting success, becoming a champion at British and European levels of karting - racing and winning against the likes of Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen, and reaching the remarkable record of remaining in the Top 3 of any championship he competed in from 2006-2011.
Alex continued on to reach exceptional highs in Formula car racing and in 2019, made his Formula 1 debut representing Thailand at the Australian Grand Prix for Scuderia Toro Rosso. He has since joined Williams Racing for the 2022 season as we enter a new era of Formula 1.
Scope of Work & Behind the Scenes
For this project, our team of videographers from Bangkok traveled to Hua Hin for a 5-day promotional video shoot with Alex Albon. Our goal for this project was to help Alex document his experience visiting the children at the Wat Sa Kaeo Orphanage and to highlight the tremendous help and support that the "The Iceman Charity" has provided for underprivileged children in Thailand as well as to promote Alex's partnership with "Monsoon Valley"
Shooting Locations
The shots were taken in multiple astounding shooting locations such as the Monsoon Valley Hua Hin and Banyan Golf Club in Hua Hin, as well as at Sala Rattanakosin (Bangkok Riverside) and of course the Iceman Charity where Alex and the team got to enjoy a few games of football with the kids.
